An enjoyable trip to Marsh Baldon
On a bright Saturday morning in mid October a party of Brethren from West Lancashire joined around 100 Allied Masons in the District of Thames Valley to attend their District meeting, prior to which would be the Installation of a new District Grand Prefect.
Richard Fraser-Bastable, Peter Brockbank, Paul Snape, Geoff Catterall, and Stephen Gregory.
Arriving at South Oxford Masonic Hall they were welcomed by Bob Chevin  the District Grand Prefect Designate, following the welcome they were able to meet friends and share a welcome cup of tea together with a plentiful supply of biscuits and Bacon Barmcakes.

The Grand Master of the Allied Masonic Degrees, M.W. Bro. Thomas Firth Jackson, was joined by a team of Grand Officers to Install the new District Grand Prefect for Thames Valley, R.W.Bro. Sqn. Ldr. Robert William Chevin.

Following his Installation, the Dist.G.Pref. appointed, invested and Installed W.Bro. Simon Russell Gillas as his Deputy and then held a short District meeting to make further appoints of District Grand Officers.

At the conclusion of the meeting  all those attending were able to enjoy the warm sunshine and  liquid refreshment before enjoying a three course Lunch.
